It is a great pleasure to introduce the participants of the NABC “Anniversary” Trade Mission to West-Africa. This mission brochure is our joint “business card” and I am sure many useful contacts in Ghana, Nigeria, Benin and Togo will originate from its dissemination. The countries we will visit turned out to be very popular when we asked our member companies for the countries in Africa they would like to explore further. Ghana is maybe the African country with the oldest business links with the Netherlands. Nigeria is poised to become the growth engine of the African continent. Benin and Togo have adopted a private sector development strategy in the past years which will also open new avenues of trade and investment. I am aware that combining these four countries is a logistics challenge, but at NABC we like challenges and we think that we have come up with an attractive and efficient proposition for our participants. This is a truly unique mission that will visit four important port cities in just nine days: Accra (Tema), Lagos, Cotonou and Lomé.
